At Dr. Chavis & Associates, we make it easy to get the care you need and deserve. We accept many insurances, including Medicare, FamilyPACT, private insurances, and more. If you do not have insurance, we are happy to see you for a very reasonable fee. You might even qualify for a reduced price on our sliding scale. Dr. Chavis and Associates offers several low cost or no-cost programs and a sliding fee scale for individuals and families with limited income. Eligibility is based on family income and family size. Certified Enrollment Counselors are available at our health centers to help you apply for MediCal, Covered California, or other health insurance programs. DNCC also offers enrollment assistance into special-need plans for individuals who have both Medicare and Medi-Cal. Medicare only HMO plans are also available. Just bring in proof of income, and we may be able to lower the fees even further.
